Blue Lapis Lazuli Heart Hoops, Handmade Oxidized Silver Textured Hoop Earrings, Natural Lapis Hearts Earrings, Blue Heart Earrings

Natural bright blue lapis lazuli with flecks of gold mineral is cut as little hearts and these dangle from richly textured handmade sterling silver hoop earrings. I handmade hoops 1” in diameter, forge them to become sturdy shapes, then bind them in fine sterling wire to capture
small sterling beads.

The textured hoops are oxidized, buffed and then tumbled for strength and shine. The small (5/16" or 8 mm) natural lapis hearts are wire wrapped in oxidized sterling and dangle from the hoops. Including the stone heart dangle, the total length is just about 1 1/2" measured from the top of the hoop.

Lapis lazuli, long a beloved naturally blue stone, often has flecks of golden pyrite sprinkled through it. This shade of blue, like blue jeans, is perfect for heart lovers that want something different from a pink or red heart! I just love the iconic heart shape and although Valentine's day might emphasize hearts--I think they are wonderful just about any time.
