Lava Stone on Forged Copper Pendant, “Open Heart Series”, Artisan Diffuser Essential Oil Pendant, Lava Stone & Vintage Glass Beads, Blue Beaded Copper Necklace
“Open Heart Series,” my ongoing series of handformed metal hearts: every one is unique...but related. This oxidized copper heart is petite and is wire wrapped to bind a lava stone bead and some blue vintage glass beads. It’s a calligraphic gesture, with an oxidized hammered texture on a delicate oxidized copper “satellite” chain.
The chain is 20” long and the cold forged heart is about 1 1/4” tall x just over 1" wide. With the copper bail, the pendant is 2” long.
Lava stone beads are quite porous & can be used to diffuse essential oils, if desired.
