Bats fly at dusk so I created a handmade, hand enameled bat brooch or pin (related to my bat pendant) with a celestial sky at dusk. I love twilight with a touch of color at the horizon and the star filled deep blue-black of night. Perfect for Halloween but lovely and unique worn any time. Just a peek at celestial wonder. And a loving reference to a Flying Mammal!

An original blue-black pin-these are created one at a time with hot glass enamel on copper in my studio.

Many layers of glass are bonded to the front and back through multiple firings in a kiln, between 1450F-1500F, for a permanent durable finished material that will not fade, bleed or change. A stainless steel locking pin clasp keeps your pin securely in place.
