A bold, bright enameled brooch or lapel pin with colorful patterns. Red, white, yellow & shades of green on a fanciful large leaf shape. This long brooch is a piece of art jewelry.
A handmade copper leaf shape is hand cut from copper sheet and formed by hand. Many layers of fine glass are bonded to the metal, front and back, under high heat in a kiln.
About 3 3/4" (90 mm) long and 1 1/8" (28 mm) wide. Presented in my signature box & ready to gift.
Long pin is one of a kind--a part of my "Flora Designs" series, started in 2015 by WillOaks Studio.
Glass or Vitreous enamels are bonded to the copper in a kiln at temperatures between 1450F-1500F for a permanent durable finished material that will not fade, bleed or change. A pair of tack pins are epoxied to the back.
