Bright Copper Enamel Dangle Earrings, Red & Yellow Floral Design, Handmade Original Vitreous Enamel on Metal, Painterly Earrings, Colorful

Inspired by red and yellow floral visions on rich green textures, these bright copper enamel dangle earrings are bold and eye catching despite their petite oval size of just about 1" tall. Total length, from the top of the ear wires, is about 1 1/2".

The back of these earrings were "counter enameled" with a dark cool gray enamel. They dangle from my curvy handmade sterling ear wires which were oxidized a dark gray, then tumbled for strength and shine. Clear silicone wire guards are included, and the ear wires were made a bit longer, to counterbalance the enameled shapes.

They are my original design and are one of a kind. Originally, I made 3 pairs with a similar theme and similar colors, but quite different designs. This is the last available pair. I imagined these to cross seasons as they celebrate joyful bright colors. The painterly style is a mix of expressionistic and impressionistic. They are all ready to mail in my custom gift box.

Ground & powdered glass is applied by hand, layer upon layer, on a copper shape and between each addition of glass, these go into a kiln and are fired to 1400-1500 degrees F. Vitreous enamel becomes a durable glass coating bonding with the copper metal base, and will never fade or change colors-it's permanent & durable.
