Golden Lacey Hoops, Opalized Crystals and Pearlized Glass Seed Beads, Gold Beige and Russet Brown Hoops, Feminine Artisan Handmade Earrings

Beautiful lacey look in hoop earrings. Handmade gold filled hoops are carefully bound with fine gold filled wire to capture opalized Swarovski crystals and Czech glass seed beads with a metallic coppery finish. Shades of gold, beige and a sort of russet brown have a lovely sparkle for every day or a special event.

I hand form and forge the gold filled hoops and then, inspired by my fiber works, build original earrings with repetitive patterns that seem like lace textiles except using fine glass beads, crystals and metal. The total height and width of these hoops (diameter, actually!) is approximately 1" or 24 mm. Hoop earrings are shaped, forged and tumbled for strength. Then layers of wire strung with beads are carefully wound into patterns around the hoops. Perfect accessory for a lacy, formal or romantic outfit and perfect for a comfortable lightweight hoop that you will forget you are wearing--UNTIL folks come up for a closer look!
