Green Garnet Necklace on Sterling Silver Beaded Chain, January Birthstone Necklace, Green Ombre Gemstone Necklace, Designer Gift for Her

Beautiful and more rare than red garnets, green garnets create a 5" ombre (gradation) on my sterling beaded "special chain"-a light and dark play on silver. Hand oxidized silver is selectively buffed to create my signature chain for an heirloom necklace that adjusts from 16 1/2" to 18 1/2" with a sterling lobster claw and extension chain. A final garnet dangles from the end of the extender.

I got this collection of green garnets that had variations of shades of green so I couldn't create a consistent edition. Instead, I created 4 different variations of this special chain, 4 different gradations, and these are illustrated in all their beautiful variations and identified by number, from which you must choose one when you check out. The garnets beads were hand cut and hand faceted, so there is variation, but the size of each bead is about 5 mm, and the beaded chain is made of 3 mm sterling beads.

This demure, very comfortable design and the facets do create sparkle when they capture light (garnets are a very hard stone.) A perfect accessory for every day, to cross seasons, and to wear with different necklines, even layered with other chains and necklaces.
