One of a kind abstract jungle garden art pendant, inspired by a joyful shades of orange green and yellow. Hot glass vitreous enamel on a handmade copper circle, 1 1/4” in diameter, kiln fired multiple times as I develop my imagery using grains and bits of glass, which is unique for each and every pendant in my new series. My colorful, original pendant is designed to easily add a chain, a cord, a ribbon, or leather cord of your choice with an easy “larks knot” as shown. Can be purchased alone, or with a leather cord as shown on the models.

If selected, a leather cord is made to order in your choice of length with a lobster clasp and ring to close & in a dark color selected to best coordinate with the pendant—typically black, gray or a shade of brown.

Flower gardens and bouquets are so joyful and beautiful. I grew up in a family of gardeners and eventually went on to study in the Master Gardeners Program. I love to use these subjects as a starting point for my miniature impressionist, and abstract colorful compositions.

Vitreous enameling is an ancient craft where glass in various forms-from powders to pieces-is bonded to a prepared metal surface. Multiple fine layers are applied, fused to the metal at temperatures between about 1450 to 1500 F, and repeated until the imagery is developed. Enameled pieces are durable, lightfast, waterproof and permanent with the only caveat that glass could be fractured with strong impact.
