Blue Enamel Drop Earrings with Crystal Quartz, Copper Enameled Organic Abstract Design, Icy Dangles, Water Inspired Artisan Enamel Original

Copper enameled earrings feature a stylized sky gradation in blues with a faceted icy clear quartz gem cradled by the curve of the metal. Artisan original glass enamel design kiln fired on hand shaped copper. One of a kind all handmade earrings to give or to keep.

Copper oval is shaped (dapped) then enameled front and back with multiple layers of melted glass using a kiln between 1400 and 1450 degrees F. Ear wires and head pins are formed of sterling silver then oxidized a dark dark gray and a faceted gem is wrapped to dangle in front of the curved enameled surface.

Handmade oxidized sterling ear wires are a tad longer, to balance the copper enameled shapes which are each about 1" (24 mm) long and 1/2" (12 mm) wide. Total earring length from the top of earwire is about 1 3/8" (35 mm). The backs of the little "glass paintings on copper" are counter enameled with a very dark, transparent blue glass (see last photo).
