Crocheted Silk Cuff with Ceramic Heart Clasp, Straw Color Silk Bracelet with Czech Glass Copper Turquoise, Artisan Original Nature Valentine

An original way to give your heart to someone OR to wear your heart on your sleeve, my unique handmade mixed media cuff is complex and striking. Artisan hand dyed heavy silk fiber, a warm natural straw color, is sprinkled with large Czech glass seed beads, bright copper beads and a mixture of turquoise beads for a multi-stand wide crocheted silk cuff.

All the individual strands are gathered to my original clasp created from a ceramic heart bead, glazed dark brown, with heavy coated copper wire used to create the working clasp.

Made to order using your wrist measurement and your preferred fit-from snug to medium to loose. An exciting, original wearable art cuff for you or for someone special. The copper and glazed ceramic clasp can either be worn on the top of the wrist or the bottom, for two very different looks (see photos.) This is a new variation on the pattern for my original cuffs that was featured in the May 2012 Issue of Vogue Knitting Special Crochet Collectors Issue. An original clasp created by me of copper and ceramic is the basis of this design. Multiple strands of heavy silk capture an earthy playful mixture of beads are crocheted directly to my handmade clasp.

Crocheted cotton cuffs are somewhat stretchy due to the stitches used. If you do not specify a size at check out, the size I will make will measure just under 8" laid flat which is a medium fit for a 6 to 6.5" wrist.
