Garnet Pinwheel Hoop Earrings, Oxidized Sterling Hoops with Garnets, Textured Garnet Earrings, January Birthday

Hand forged sterling silver hoops are wrapped with sterling silver to capture garnets and sterling beads in a light, airy pattern. I think the resulting design is a bit like a pinwheel or maybe a stylized blossom. The earrings are oxidized, buffed and then tumbled for strength for a pair of hoops that are just about 1 1/8" tall and 1 1/8” wide. One large, 5 mm sterling bead acts as a focal point at the bottom center of the hoops, completely trapped in place by all the decorative wire wrapping, garnets and sterling beads.

Garnets are the January birthstone and are nicely highlighted during winter holidays and at Valentine’s Day.
