Copper Enamel Black & White Brooch, Enameled Art Jewelry Lapel Pin, Unisex Pin, One of a Kind Gift, Ready to Mail, WillOaksStudio Original

An abstract copper form-long leaf or feather shaped-that I have enameled with black and white vitreous enamels. This original brooch or pin was formed from hand cut and shaped copper and coated with many layers glass enamel under high heat in a kiln. My experimental enamels incorporate opaque and translucent areas and the more transparent parts reveal reflective metal surfaces underneath.

This lapel pin is one of a kind. It is a piece of art jewelry inspired by nature. It is from my current "Flora Designs" series that I started back in 2015. My series is still ongoing as WillOaksStudio Designs.

Pin measures 3 1/4” long and about 1" wide at the widest. Presented in my signature box & ready to gift.

Glass or Vitreous enamels are bonded to the copper in a kiln at temperatures between 1450F-1500F for a permanent durable finished material that will not fade, bleed or change. As illustrated above, a steel pin is epoxied to the back & includes a safety clasp.
