Chartreuse and White Drop Pearl Earrings, Gold Filled White Freshwater Pearl Dangle Earrings, Pearl Classics

A marriage of white and chartreuse, these classic pearl drop earrings are created with white freshwater pearls and "olive jade" (serpentine) rondelles, wire wrapped with 14-20 gold filled wire to capture textured gold rings and to dangle freely from my hand formed gold filled ear wires.

Adding gold to my studio to mix with my beloved pearls and semi-precious gemstones has been exciting! White freshwater pearls, between 7 and 8mm, are topped by smooth naturally translucent roundels of a chartreuse olive jade-a natural gemstone-and captured with 2mm gold filled beads and wire wrapping. A golden circle of textured wire, hand shaped from gold filled wire, sits between the pearl and the gemstone. There is a definite green cast to the jade which may not show up on all monitors but in person, I call this color chartreuse.

Hand formed 20 gauge gold filled wire forms ear wires are tumbled for strength and shine. Earrings measure just under 1 3/8" (34mm) long from the top of the ear wire. Can also be created in bright silver or oxidized sterling silver--please note a preference at check out, or a gold filled pair will be made for you!
